AMA designates the club as an AMA Gold Leader Club! This is a big deal for us and we want to thank Dave Dress for all of his hard work to get the club recognized. All members will get pins and the plaque will reside at el presidentes house.

9/25/2011-Fair Haven
The field is fully open and everyone has been flying when they get the chance. There are still many areas of the field that are filled in and seeded, so caution is name of the game. There are no restrictions on plane size, but again please no divots. The parking area East of the runway also has many repair sections, so if it’s wet find a place to park that doesn’t mess up the repairs.
9/11/2011-Fair Haven
After the National Guard used the flying field as a staging area for hurricane Irene relief, the field was pretty chewed up, but our intrepid crew headed out today to fill in the dings and get the field back into flying condition. We are happy to report that the field is now open again. Pilots are asked to treat the repaired areas gently to allow them to come back to their original condition. Pictures HERE.
