Fun Fly '25-Canceled
The FH Select Board informed local farmers they cannot 'hay' the area surrounding our airfield until at least August 1, 2025. This prevented us from preparing the camping and parking areas for our planned Fun Fly in July, and we were ultimately forced to cancel our event.
We regret to inform everyone that our scheduled 2025 Fun Fly, planned for July, has been canceled this year. The Fair Haven Select Board has informed area farmers that they cannot hay or mow the grassy areas surrounding our airfield until at least August 1st, 2025. Without that area being cleared, we are given no choice in the matter but to cancel our event this year, because we'll have nowhere available for parking and/or camping. We're hoping for better conditions and local governance next year.
