Welcome
Welcome to the internet home of the Rutland County RC Flyers. The Rutland County RC Flyers are dedicated model aviation enthusiasts that fly during the warmer months at the site of the former Fair Haven Municipal Airport, in Fair Haven, VT. The club has been an officially chartered club with the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) since 1991. We are part of AMA's District-1, which includes all AMA clubs in New England.
We welcome visitors to our field anytime we're flying. We're there almost any day that conditions allow during the warmer months.
You can stay tuned for our latest activities right here, or visit us on our Facebook Group. You don't have to have a FB account to view posts on the club's Facebook Group, so it's open to all.

Member Aircraft for Sale
Long-time club member Dave Demick has a list of RC aircraft he's looking to sell. You can check out his list by clicking the Demick Sale Items link.
Baby, it's Cold Outside!
During many winters, the guys have used skiis or even floats to enjoy a few flights during the winter months. But in late 2024 and early 2025, outside temps have been prohibitively cold. Mix in a 21 degree day with 14mph winds, and the chill factor goes down to a not very balmy 10-degrees.
OK, so there's always RealFlight and indoor flying to get in some 'flights' without braving the cold. Thank goodness for that!
Indoor flying for our club will start bright and early the morning of Sunday, February 9th, and I think by now, we're all very much looking forward to it!
In late March, the club will be holding our annual Swap Meet. Be sure to check our Swap Meet page, and if you plan on selling some of your RC related items, download the table reservation form and get your check mailed to our club treasurer, Jim Rotondo.
